The Prophetic HUB is designed to prepare participants for ministering God's voice to people. You will learn how to minister with the Holy Spirit and allow His power to flow through you to those who need to hear God's voice.

The Hebrew word “to prophesy” means “to flow forth”. It further implies the meaning as to bubble forth like a fountain or to spring forth. The Greek word or the New Testament meaning of “to prophesy” literally means to “speak for another”.

 

Prophesy is supernatural revelation or the voice of God in any given situation which bring forth edification, exhortation and comfort. The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10) All true prophecy is the testimony of Jesus, it comes from Him and it draws people to Him.

 

The purpose of the gift of prophecy in the New Testament church is described in (1 Cor 14:3) But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation.

• Edification means, “to build up”

• Exhortation means, “to call near”

• Consolation means, “to cheer up”

 

In the New Testament Church we as prophetic people are not called to bring negative words, correction or call fire down upon people. We are prophets of grace, not prophets of judgment. We do not prophesy peoples’ problems, we prophesy the answers. We are called to bring forth the best in people.
