Introduction
No person can plant a church alone. It takes a team of diverse yet like-minded people united by a common vision. We call these specific people for our ministry our “Launch Team.” Perhaps you would like to join our launch team. Start by asking yourself a few simple questions:
-
Do I want to make a difference in the lives of others and do something that matters for Christ?
-
Do I sense God telling me to help launch this church?
-
Do I want to help better my community?
-
Do I feel a connection with Pastors Mark & Sherry Pickett?
-
Do I agree with the vision, mission, and values of this new church?
If your answer is yes to any of these questions, please keep reading.

What Is The Launch Team?
Specifically, our launch team are the volunteers that serve alongside our lead pastor in the early stages of planting our new church. Some will serve temporarily and others will become long-term members. In fact, many launch team members are not with the new church after the first year. You can serve on our launch team temporarily even if you are a member of another church after getting the approval of your pastor.
